Fried Cabbage with Bacon, Onion, and Garlic

Ingredients:
• 1 medium cabbage, shredded
• 200g bacon, diced
• 1 large onion, finely chopped
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
1. Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
2. Sauté Onion and Garlic: In the same skillet with the bacon fat, add the olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
3. Add Cabbage: Stir in the shredded cabbage to the skillet with the onions and garlic. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp, about 10-12 minutes.
4. Add Bacon: Once the cabbage is cooked to your desired texture, add the cooked bacon back into the skillet. Stir to combine and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Serve: Transfer the fried cabbage with bacon, onion, and garlic to a serving dish. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot as a delicious side dish or light meal. Enjoy!
