EPIC BEEF NACHOS SUPREME

  Ingredients:

– Taco Seasoning (or 1 packet/ serving of store-bought taco seasoning)
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 yellow onion, diced
– 2 bags tortilla chips (16 ounces each)
– 1 can refried beans
– 16 ounces shredded cheese (Cheddar and Monterey Jack work well)
– 3 roma tomatoes, diced
– 2 to 3 green onions, sliced

  Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).

2. On the stovetop, cook the ground beef and diced onions over medium-high heat until fully browned (approximately 8 minutes). Drain any excess fat.

3. Return the cooked beef to the pan, sprinkle the taco seasoning over it, and stir. Add 3/4 cup water, bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until most of the liquid evaporates, roughly 5 minutes.

4. While the beef is cooking, spread a generous layer of tortilla chips on two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.

5. Spread refried beans evenly over the chips on both pans. The beans may be thick, but they’ll spread as they heat in the oven.

6. Divide the cooked beef between the pans, spooning it over the chips.

7. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of each pan of nachos.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

9. Remove the pans from the oven and sprinkle the diced tomatoes and sliced green onions over the nachos.

10. Serve immediately for the freshest, most delicious experience.
