°1 lb. minced meat
°1 onion cut into cubes
°2 minced garlic cloves
°1 can (14 ounces) diced, dried tomatoes
°1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
°1 teaspoon dried oregano
°1 teaspoon dried basil
°Salt and pepper to taste
°4 cups mashed potatoes (made from 2 pounds of potatoes)
°1 cup grated cheddar cheese
